Summer Proverbs

Hello Ladies! I am happy to share with you some news and an opportunity for you!


If you are like me, you NEED fellowship with other women. It's not a "sometimes" or "occasionally" thing. In fact, we are given clear instruction in Hebrews 10 (read the whole chapter!) to "not neglect meeting together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (v 25)

It has been years since I have had a regular fellowship gathering of ladies, either at my home or through the local church. In fact, since our move 2 years ago, I have been seeking this within  the church. And I have had to battle some great discouragement! Well, after a lot of prayer and seeking wise counsel- I felt led to start (for now) a bible study group, through She's Restored, at my house.

Nothing fancy or elaborate. In fact, it is one of the simplest studies that we can do. And I especially want to invite and encourage you to join us!

May I also encourage you in knowing this...It is actually very rare to find churches these days that value the importance of regular fellowship and discipleship. So if you have found that the church you are at doesn't, and it's something God has put on your heart, perhaps you can be the one to share that!!

So... the study is the book of Proverbs!!!

I LOVE PROVERBS!!! It has been a daily blessing to me for over 10 years. I call it my spiritual vitamin. As I'm sure we can all gather, there are 31 Proverbs and typically 31 days in a month. So, the  discipline is simple: Read a Proverb a day, for a month. And really if you are a total Bible-worm -like me- you'll want to read it again the next month, and the next....

This is a good way to get in the habit of getting in God's Word daily- especially if you are Not a Bible-worm.

There are of course some gems is each proverb that I hope to uncover and shine during this study. Lord willing I will post periodically and share. If you feel led to start a study of your own, I would love to hear what The Lord reveals to you! You can comment below.
