"Cities In Dust"

I received an urgent song message yesterday. I feel led to even make it a post.

A song I heard many times back in my dance club days but outside of the chorus never knew the lyrics. I am posting them below. I also received a passage of scripture confirming not only the song but the urgency. It is found in Isaiah 26, namely verse 5. I have been given Isaiah 26:20-21 as a spiritual and physical preparation for the church, so my eyes and ears are wide awake.

Please pray and seek The Lord. He has all of His children where He wants us and in the palm of His mighty hand. Let's be ready and glorify Him in all things.

Water was running, children were running
You were running out of time
Under the mountain, a golden fountain
Were you praying at the Lares' shrine?
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend

We found you hiding, we found you lying
Choking on the dirt and sand
Your former glories and all the stories
Dragged and washed with eager hands
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Your city lies in dust

Water was running, children were running
We found you hiding, we found you lying
Water was running, children were running
We found you hiding, we found you lying
Your city lies in dust, my friend
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend

Hot and burning in your nostrils
Pouring down your gaping mouth
Your molten bodies, blanket of cinders
Caught in the throes
And oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Your city lies in dust, my friend
Oh, your city lies in dust, my friend...
